I’m Dana, founder and lead designer of Calm Clarity Interiors, a Calgary interior design studio specializing in thoughtful home transformations.

I believe a beautiful home should do more than look good. It should reflect who you are, support the way you live, and be an investment you feel confident making.

My background in engineering, supply chain, and over a decade of corporate project management shapes how I approach design. I see the potential in spaces, but I also think about what it takes to bring that vision to life, from the first design decision to the final installation.

Through our signature CCI Agile Method, I guide homeowners through a clear, eight-step process with defined milestones, thoughtful investment planning, and consistent communication. You’ll understand your options, the trade-offs, and how each decision supports your lifestyle and long-term goals.

As a parent and first-generation achiever, I understand how much life changes and how hard you’ve worked to create the home you have. My role is to help you make the most of it, creating spaces that feel personal, function beautifully, and continue to serve you for years to come.

My goal is simple: to help you see what’s possible in the home you already love, make informed decisions along the way, and enjoy a renovation experience that’s as thoughtfully managed as the finished space.

Every decision we made came down to two questions: does this fit me, and how does it look down the road at resale. This allowed me to make information-based decisions.

What really stood out to me was the execution. Dana built a project schedule and followed it to a T. Twelve weeks, start to finish. She planned and executed extremely well, and was adaptive and flexible. I looked at that schedule every week and planned my own week around it.

Dana’s suite of trades was exceptional. Without exception, they showed up when they were supposed to, did quality work at a fair price, and cleaned up after themselves. That is rarer than it should be.

I told Dana early on she was going to have to do some hand holding, and she did. Renovations are stressful, and having somebody who can guide you through the process and be there for you is worth a great deal. That was always in the back of our minds. When I raised an issue, I never had to raise it twice. It was dealt with immediately and effectively.
