This 12 year old home had good bones but it needed a refresh to maximize the use of space and function for a young growing family. The home felt dark , the kitchen was not as functional as it could be. the fireplace was awkwardly placed in the middle of the great room creating non-usable void in front of it.
By moving the fireplace into the living area , reorienting the kitchen and adding a bench to create a large usable dinning space we increased the footprint of the kitchen and made better use of space. New custom flooring , large windows and doors came together to make the rooms feel much lighter and brighter.
